The Official Broadcaster of World’s largest franchise T20 cricket Indian Premier League Sony Max launched the IPL anthem 2017 on Wednesday, March 1st, 2017. Titled #10SaalAapkeNaam, anthem is touching the right chords of cricket fans all across the country who have supported IPL over the past 10 years and is tribute to their love which led to the success of IPL. Auctions for the country’s richest cricket tournament was concluded later in February and now tenth season of IPL is all set to begin on 5th of April this year.
The official broadcaster of the league, Sony Max twitter handle shared the anthem video and wrote, “The most awaited VIVO #IPL 2017 Anthem is here! Dear Fans, #10SaalAapkeNaam. We thank each one of you’ll for the love over these 10 years!”. The minute long IPL anthem has the trademark Trumpet ringing once again. It features the celebratory mode of Cricket fans across India. Capturing the zest of people from all generation, the anthem video showcases how IPL is celebrated in Local Shops, streets, Households since it started in 2007.
The season’s first match will be played on April 5 at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International stadium, which will host the final match of the season on 21st May as well. This year’s tournament will be played among eight teams .i.e. Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab, Delhi Daredevils, Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal challengers Bangalore, Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions. The latter two played their maiden IPL season last year.
The IPL anthem video #10SaalAapkeNaam will be broadcasted for the first time across the Sony Pictures Network India later on March 1. Watch the video here before anyone else!
