TATA IPL 2023 Player Retentions List
The window for the 10 franchises to retain players for the TATA Indian Premier League 2023 season ended on 15 th November 2022. 163 players were retained by the franchises whereas 85 players were released from their existing squads.
IPL Player Retentions for the next season has been announced by the Indian Premier League. It was earlier known that an auction was to be held on January 27, 2019 to allow franchises to bid for players of their choice. This list contains the number of players that each franchise has retained and their respective salary. The retention window will close at 5:00 pm IST on Thursday, December 20, 2018.
The window for the 10 franchises to retain players for the TATA Indian Premier League 2 is only open for a week and all of them are looking to make the best out of it. The most sought-after player, according to experts, is KKR's Andre Russell. The Jamaican all-rounder has been in sensational form this year and has led his team to two titles already. He is followed by Delhi Daredevils' Rishabh Pant, who has had a superb debut season with his team.
