Suppose there are 1000 users are playing IPL fantasy league. In which each user is given some X amount of Money. Let also suppose that X = 100.
So 1000 users build their dream team in budget of X amount.
Selecting and buying players in given budget. And build best team.
Now 1000 users enters the league giving 10 Bucks to the league owner. At the start League value till the end is 10,000 Bucks.
I will categories Winners category as A, B, C
Top A Ranking Winners.
Now league owner gives 20% of Amount to winner who are top 20% users.
Amount remaining is 10,000 - 2,000 = 8,000 Bucks.
Winners get 10X Bucks investing 10 Bucks. i.e 100 Bucks.
Till now Users with no cash Prize = 1,000 - 200 = 800
Top B Ranking winners
Now league owner gives 20% amount to next ranked 40% users.
Amount remaining 8,000 - 2000 = 6,000 Bucks
Winners get 5X Bucks investing 10 Bucks. i.e 50 Bucks.
Till now Users with no cash Prize = 800 - 400 = 400
Top C Ranking Winners
Now league owner gives 50% amount to next ranked 30% users.
Amount remaining 6,000 - 5,000 = 1,000 Bucks
Winners get 1.5X Bucks investing 10 Bucks. i.e 16.667 Bucks.
Till now Users with no cash Prize = 400 - 300 = 100
So winners are only 900 people who does not lose their spent.
